Evidence to Prove Jesus is the Promised Savior

Jesus miraculous
birth
Seven hundred (700) years
before Christ’s birth, He was predicted to be born in a virgin.
Isaiah 7:14 – Behold a
virgin shall conceive and bear a son.
Matthew 1:18-21, 23 –
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows:
After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came
together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit… and she will
bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His
people from their sins. So shall all this was done that it might be
fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet saying: “Behold,
the virgin shall be with child, and b ear a Son, and thy shall call His
name Immanuel, which is translate, “God with us.”

Bethlehem
Micah 5:2 -
“But you Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are little among the
thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to Me the One to be
Ruler in Israel, whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.
Matthew 2: 1-2 -
Now after Jesus was
born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men
from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, Where is He who has been born
King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to
worship Him.

betray Him
Psalm 41:9 – Even my own
familiar friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his
heel against me.
John 13:26 –
(During the last supper) And
supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of
Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him… Jesus said: “ Most
assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray me… It is he whom I shall
give a piece of bread when I have dipped it. And having dipped the bread,
He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. (Judas, was a close friend
of Jesus).

The price paid to the
traitor – 30 pieces of silver
Zachariah11:12 – So they
weighed out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.
Matthew 26:15
- Judas said: What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him
(Jesus) to you?” And they
counted out to him thirty pieces of silver.

His beating and abuse
Isaiah 50:6 - I offered my
back … my face for spitting.
Matthew 26:67, 68 –Then
they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck him with the palms
of their hands, saying, “Prophecy to us, Christ who! Who struck you?”

They pierced the
hands and feet of Jesus
Psalm 22:16 – They
pierced my hands and my feet.
John 20:25, 27 - Thomas:
Unless I see in is hands the print of the nails, and put my finger
into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not
believe… Jesus said to Thomas: “Reach your finger here, and look at my
hands, and reach your hand here, and put it into my side.
Do not be unbelieving, but believing. And Thomas answered and said
to Him: “My Lord and my God.”
( The hands and feet of
Jesus were nailed to the cross).

They cast lots for
His clothing.
Psalm 22:18 - They divided
my garments, for my clothing do hey cast lots.
John 19:23, 24 -
The soldiers took His garment. “Let us cast lots for it.”

His words on the
cross
Psalm 22:1 – My God, my
God why have you forsaken me?
Matthew 27:46 – ( At the
cross, Jesus said) “ My God, my God why have you forsaken me?”

He was numbered with
the transgressors
Isaiah 53:12 – …And He
was numbered with the transgressors….
Mark 15:27, 28 – With
Him, they crucified two thieves.
